Choosing a state-recognised hospitality school means choosing a programme whose quality is demonstrated. At Ferrières, our quality approach rests on Qualiopi certification, qualifications registered in the RNCP, performance indicators published in full transparency, and continuous improvement in the service of our students, our partner companies and teaching excellence.

A quality approach in the service of excellence

At Ferrières, quality is a standing commitment. It guides everything we do, so that we can offer a demanding, career-focused learning experience that matches the expectations of the hospitality management, luxury hotel, restaurant, culinary arts, luxury and events sectors.

Our quality approach rests on several commitments:

  • delivering programmes that keep pace with how the professions are changing;
  • roviding every student with individual support throughout their studies;
  • measuring the satisfaction of learners and partner companies at regular intervals;
  • placing all our programmes within a logic of continuous improvement;
  • communicating transparently about the results achieved.

This approach is part of what makes Ferrières a benchmark in higher education for the professions of the hospitality industry.

The Qualiopi certification

Qualiopi is the French national quality standard attesting to the quality of provision in the teaching of knowledge, the development of skills and learner support.

Apprenticeships at Ferrières are made possible through our work with the apprenticeship training centre of Groupe Accelis Education, known as the CFGA.

Ferrières and the CFGA are both Qualiopi certified.

Continuous improvement geared to the professions of tomorrow

The professions of hospitality, luxury, restaurants and the culinary arts are changing all the time. To respond to those changes, Ferrières places continuous improvement at the heart of the way it works.

Teaching content is regularly assessed and updated using feedback from students, graduates, teaching teams and partner companies. This allows the teaching to be adapted to the new skills recruiters are looking for and to developments in the hospitality industry.

By placing quality at the centre of its educational project, Ferrières prepares its students to work in demanding environments, in France and internationally.

Performance indicators published in full transparency

Because quality is also measured through concrete results, Ferrières publishes the main performance indicators for its programmes every year.

These figures cover:

  • pass rates;
  • certification award rates;
  • student satisfaction rates;
  • employment rates;
  • rates of progression to further study, where those indicators apply.

This transparency gives future students reliable information with which to compare programmes and make an informed choice.

Summary of the certification

Aims and context of the certification: the hotel and restaurant industry in France is a dynamic sector employing around 1.26 million people, with a third of its workforce turning over each year. Restaurants dominate, accounting for 75% of the sector's jobs. In summer the sector counts close to 300,000 seasonal jobs, and 100,000 in winter. Despite the growing consolidation of the sector, there is strong demand for management, marketing and customer relations skills within companies of fewer than 300 employees. The sector is also shaped by digital trends, with increasing dematerialisation and the development of artificial intelligence changing the traditional customer relationship.

Programme quality: a Qualiopi-certified hospitality school

Ferrières trains students for careers in hospitality management, luxury hotels, restaurants, the culinary arts, luxury and events, within the Château de Ferrières, 30 minutes from Paris. Choosing a state-recognised hospitality school means choosing a programme whose quality is demonstrated, measured and published.

The school's quality approach rests on three complementary pillars. The first is Qualiopi certification, the national standard attesting to the quality of provision in the teaching of knowledge, the development of skills and learner support. Ferrières and the CFGA — the apprenticeship training centre of Groupe Accelis Education, which makes apprenticeships possible at Ferrières — are both Qualiopi certified.

The second pillar is the registration of qualifications in the Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles (RNCP), the French national register of professional certifications. The certification "Responsable en hôtellerie et restauration internationales" (RNCP), at Level 6, was registered by France Compétences on 16 November 2023. Each RNCP record sets out the activities covered, the skills certified, the skill blocks, the assessment arrangements, the routes of access and the types of employment open to holders: all of it verifiable before committing to a programme.

The third pillar is the publication of performance indicators. Each year Ferrières publishes pass rates, certification award rates, student satisfaction rates, employment rates and, where applicable, rates of progression to further study. These figures, updated as at May 2025, make it possible to compare programmes on an objective basis and to make an informed choice.

Alongside these commitments runs a logic of continuous improvement. Teaching content is regularly assessed and updated using feedback from students, graduates, teaching teams and partner companies. This constant listening allows the teaching to be adapted to the skills recruiters are looking for and to developments in the hospitality industry, in France and internationally.

Certified quality, state-recognised qualifications, published results: these are the foundations on which Ferrières supports every student, from Bachelor to MSc., towards demanding professional environments.

Understanding a hospitality school's approach to quality

The quality of a programme is not something to be asserted: it is something to be verified. For a future student, as for their family, three things allow an objective judgement to be formed about a hospitality school — the certification held by the provider, the recognition of the qualification by the State, and the publication of the results achieved by previous year groups. The Ferrières quality page brings these three together, so that anyone can compare and decide in full knowledge of the facts.

The Qualiopi certification

Qualiopi is the French national quality standard attesting to the quality of provision in the teaching of knowledge, the development of skills and learner support. It is a certification awarded following an independent audit, not a self-declared label. It covers the whole training process: public information, identification of objectives, adaptation of provision, qualification of teaching teams, collection of feedback and handling of complaints.

At Ferrières, apprenticeships are made possible through our work with the apprenticeship training centre of Groupe Accelis Education, known as the CFGA. Ferrières and the CFGA are both Qualiopi certified: students on full-time programmes and apprentices alike therefore work within a teaching framework audited against the same national standard.

Qualifications registered in the RNCP

The Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles is the French national register of qualifications recognised by the State. The certification "Responsable en hôtellerie et restauration internationales" is registered there under number RNCP, at Level 6 of the national qualifications framework. Its registration was decided by France Compétences on 16 November 2023 and expires on 15 November 2026. It falls under NSF code 334p (tourism and hotel management) and Formacodes 42754 (hotels and restaurants), 32110 (operational management) and 34054 (commercial and purchasing management). It succeeds certification RNCP35163, "Manager en hôtellerie et restauration internationales".

The RNCP record describes precisely what the certification attests. It is structured around three skill blocks: devising the commercial, marketing and digital strategy of a responsible international hotel and restaurant operation; managing the sustainable delivery of services in international hotels and restaurants; and managing the administrative and financial running of an international hotel and restaurant operation. Skills are assessed through professional situations, case studies, role play, a serious game, practical exercises and a dissertation.

Award of the certification requires validation of all the skill blocks, completion of a company assignment lasting a minimum of four months and a maximum of ten, and validation of a dissertation. The examining panel is made up of five members, 50% of them external: three practising professionals, the Academic Director of Ferrières and the Director of Ferrières or their representative. No panel member may take part in the training of candidates or have any family or professional connection with them — a rule of independence that guarantees the impartiality of the assessment.

The certification can be reached by several routes: study under school or student status, apprenticeship contract, continuing education, professionalisation contract, and accreditation of prior experience. Entry to the programme requires the baccalauréat or an equivalent qualification for international applicants, together with command of the languages used in the programme, verified by a certificate (TOEIC, DELF and the like) or a language test.

Performance indicators published every year

Because quality is also measured through concrete results, Ferrières publishes the main performance indicators for its programmes every year: pass rates, certification award rates, student satisfaction rates, employment rates, and rates of progression to further study where those indicators apply. The figures published on this page are updated as at May 2025.

The employment statistics set out in RNCP record give a first point of reference: the 2020, 2021 and 2022 year groups each show an overall employment rate at six months of 100%, for 27, 41 and 39 certified graduates respectively. This transparency gives future students reliable information with which to compare programmes and make an informed choice.

Continuous improvement geared to the professions of tomorrow

The professions of hospitality, luxury, restaurants and the culinary arts are changing all the time: the digitalisation of the customer relationship, greater expectations around sustainability, the internationalisation of careers.

All the quality documents — Qualiopi certificate, RNCP records and the table of performance indicators — can be consulted and downloaded from this page. For any question about the recognition of a qualification, the certification arrangements or the routes of access, the admissions team can be reached Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm, on +33 (0)1 72 35 05 00 or at admissions@ferrieres-paris.com. Open Days are also an opportunity to talk directly to the teaching teams at the Château de Ferrières.

Frequently asked questions — quality and recognition

Qualiopi certification, RNCP qualifications, performance indicators: what attests to the quality of our programmes.

For applicants

Yes. The Bachelor prepares students for the certification "Responsable en hôtellerie et restauration internationales" (manager in international hotels and restaurants), registered in the Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles — the French national register of professional certifications — under number RNCP, at Level 6 of the national qualifications framework. Registration was decided by France Compétences on 16 November 2023, for a period of three years. The certification succeeds RNCP35163, "Manager en hôtellerie et restauration internationales". Registration in the RNCP means that the skills certified have been examined by an independent public authority: the record, freely available online, sets out the activities covered, the skill blocks, the assessment arrangements and the professions open to holders.

Qualiopi is the French national quality standard attesting to the quality of provision in the teaching of knowledge, the development of skills and learner support. It is not a self-declared label: the certification is awarded following an independent audit covering public information, the definition of objectives, the adaptation of provision, the qualification of teaching teams, the collection of feedback and the handling of complaints. In other words, it is the organisation of the training, and not only its content, that has been verified by a third party. The school's certificate can be consulted and downloaded from this page.

Award of the certification rests on three cumulative conditions: validation of all the skill blocks, completion of a company assignment lasting between four and ten months, and validation of a dissertation. Skills are assessed through professional situations, case studies, role play, a serious game and practical exercises. The examining panel is made up of five members, 50% of them external: three practising professionals, the Academic Director, and the Director of the school or their representative. No panel member may take part in the training of candidates or have any family or professional connection with them. Ferrières does not offer the option of sitting individual blocks in the event of absence.

The table of performance indicators, published on this page and updated as at May 2025, sets out the results for each certification, year by year: numbers registered and certified, pass rate, first-year withdrawal rate, rate of progression to further study, employment rate at six months and satisfaction rate. The 2024 Bachelor year group, for instance, shows a pass rate of 93%, an employment rate at six months of 100% and a satisfaction rate of 90%. The figures cover several consecutive years, which makes it possible to read a trend rather than an isolated result.

For families & career changers

Three verifiable things allow you to form a view, independently of what a school says about itself. First, the provider's certification: Qualiopi is awarded following an independent audit and conditions access to public and pooled funding. Second, recognition of the qualification: a certification registered in the RNCP appears in a public database, with its level, its expiry date and the name of the certifying body. Third, the publication of results: pass, employment and satisfaction rates for previous year groups. All three are brought together on this page, and each points to a source you can consult for yourself.

For each of its certifications, the school publishes the numbers registered and certified, the pass rate, the first-year withdrawal rate, the rate of progression to further study, the employment rate at six months and the year group's satisfaction rate. The figures are updated as at May 2025 and cover several years, from the Bachelor to the Master's and the Pastry programme. The 2024 Bachelor year group shows a pass rate of 93% and satisfaction of 90%; the Pastry programme, a pass rate of 100% and satisfaction of 98%. The full table can be consulted on this page.

Yes. Apprenticeships at Ferrières are made possible through our work with the apprenticeship training centre of Groupe Accelis Education, known as the CFGA. Ferrières and the CFGA are both Qualiopi certified: students on full-time programmes and apprentices alike therefore work within a framework audited against the same national standard. This dual certification has a practical consequence for families, since it conditions the coverage of tuition fees by the company's OPCO (skills funding body) under an apprenticeship contract.

Yes. RNCP sets out several routes of access: study under school or student status, apprenticeship contract, continuing education, professionalisation contract, and accreditation of prior experience (VAE). Individual applications, by contrast, are not accepted. Whichever route is taken, the conditions of award are the same — validation of all the skill blocks, a company assignment and a dissertation — and the panel is composed in the same way. The admissions team can advise you on the route best suited to your circumstances.

For international students

The RNCP is the French register of professional certifications: Level 6 corresponds to three years of higher education after the baccalauréat. It is therefore not an automatic recognition in another country, but a public, verifiable reference point anchored in the national qualifications framework. RNCP is freely available on the France Compétences website and sets out the level, the certifying body, the skills certified and the professions covered — all of which an employer or an institution abroad can examine. For formal equivalence in your own country, contact the national body responsible for the recognition of qualifications.

Before entry to the programme, the school checks three requirements set out in the RNCP record. The first is the baccalauréat or an equivalent qualification for international applicants. The second is command of the languages used in the programme. The third is a language certificate — TOEIC, DELF or equivalent — or a language test: an interview in English for French applicants and for international applicants who are not English speakers, and an interview in French for French-speaking international applicants. These checks form part of the requirements of the quality standard.

A registration expiry date does not call into question the validity of a qualification already obtained, which remains the holder's for good. For any question concerning your own year group, the admissions team will confirm the current position.

Three documents are available from this page. The school's Qualiopi certificate can be consulted and downloaded. The table of performance indicators sets out the results for each certification, updated as at May 2025. The RNCP record is reproduced in full and links to the framework of activities, skills and assessment published by France Compétences, as well as to the official record, which alone is authoritative. For any question, the admissions team can be reached Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, on +33 (0)1 72 35 05 00 or at admissions@ferrieres-paris.com.
