The Fusion Trail: the expertise of several schools combined

The Fusion Trail: the expertise of several schools combined
20,000 m² of learning spaces · 400 student beds · Sports & wellbeing facilities · Incubation & co-working · Living, services & dining

The Fusion Trail is a distinctive teaching approach that gives students the benefit of the complementary expertise of the Groupe Accelis schools: European Business School (business development) and École 89 (deep tech).

By drawing on teaching, projects and experiences from several institutions, students develop a broader view of the professions of hospitality, management, marketing, entrepreneurship and creation. Above all, they develop a keen sense of agility in business. This cross-disciplinary approach fosters open-mindedness, innovation and the future skills employers are looking for.

This fusion of skills will take physical form with the opening of the GA Education shared campus building.

Bachelor Hospitality Management: hotel management degree in France

The Bachelor in Hospitality Management at École Ferrières is a three-year programme, RNCP Level 6 certified and Qualiopi certified, preparing students for supervisory and management roles in hotels, restaurants and the art of hosting. Taught at the Château de Ferrières — a listed historic monument in Seine-et-Marne, a few kilometres from Paris — the programme offers a learning environment unlike any other in France, an embodiment of French excellence.

The course combines interactive classes, practical workshops, placements in prestigious houses and professional immersion within the Ferrières ecosystem: a four-star hotel, restaurants and event venues. Professional experience begins in the first year with fourteen to sixteen weeks of placement, continues in the second year with a semester in Barcelona, and concludes in the third year with a chosen focus — Hotel Operations, F&B Operations or Luxury Field Operations — on a work-study or full-time basis, in partnership with the largest hotel groups.

The Bachelor is open to holders of the baccalauréat, whatever their stream. Selection is based on a review of the application file and an individual interview of 20 to 30 minutes, on campus or by video call. Tuition fees are €13,500 per year; in the third year, work-study allows fees to be covered in full. Several funding solutions are available: student loans, excellence scholarships awarded by the Fonds de Dotation Ferrières, work-study and support from G.A Financement.

Awarded 4 Palmes Eduniversal 2025, École Ferrières ranks among the leading hospitality schools in the Île-de-France region. 100% of graduates are in work within six months (Class of 2024), and the alumni network includes professionals working in palaces, luxury groups and starred restaurants around the world.

The Bachelor leads on to the MSc. Leadership in Hospitality Management (RNCP Level 7), awarded in partnership with EBS Paris. Applications are open all year round to French and international students — Ferrières supports international applicants with their Campus France procedures. The next intake is in September 2026.

An exceptional school at the heart of the Château de Ferrières

Housed in the Château de Ferrières, a listed historic monument in Seine-et-Marne, École Ferrières embodies French excellence in hospitality, restaurants and luxury. Awarded 4 Palmes Eduniversal 2025, it ranks among the leading hospitality schools in the Île-de-France region. The Bachelor in Hospitality Management trains the sector's future leaders over three years, cultivating personal conduct, professional craft and the drive to get things done. RNCP Level 6 and Qualiopi certified, this three-year degree is designed for students who wish to combine applied management, the art of hosting and an international outlook.

A progressive, industry-focused programme

The first year lays the foundations of the hospitality industries through a common core, enriched by optional classes in cuisine and pastry. Students complete six weeks of placement within the Ferrières ecosystem — four-star hotel, fine-dining restaurants, events — followed by eight to ten weeks with partner houses. The second year develops expertise in Operations and Guest Experience, with a semester in Barcelona devoted to the Entertainment, Airlines, Cruiseliner & MICE sectors, or an optional international academic exchange, together with sixteen weeks of placement. The third year consolidates management skills with a chosen focus — Hotel Operations, F&B Operations or Luxury Field Operations — on a work-study basis through the Alternance Trail, in partnership with the largest hotel groups, at a rhythm of one week at school for three weeks in the workplace, or on a full-time basis, with five months at school and six months of placement.

The programme also includes the Fusion Trail, a foundation of hybrid skills shared with sister schools 89 and EBS Paris: AI, data and guest experience, design thinking and project management, entrepreneurship, sustainable transition, cybersecurity and digital challenges.

Teaching built on practice

The Ferrières approach rests on three pillars. Vocational teaching, delivered as interactive classes, passes on the technological, scientific and technical knowledge of the sector. Learning through practice — via the professional acceleration programme, workshops in fully equipped kitchens, trade fairs, masterclasses, competitions and placements in five-star establishments — allows that knowledge to be transferred to the real world. Finally, individual support accompanies every student in their personal development, their career plans and their employability, in particular through the Partnerships & Careers department and the Career Summits held twice a year.

Admissions and funding

The Bachelor in Hospitality Management is open to holders of a general, technological or vocational baccalauréat, or an equivalent foreign qualification accompanied by a certificate of equivalence translated by the embassy's official services. Applications are made online and are open all year round. Selection is based on a review of the file — CV, proof of identity, school reports from the final two years, optional covering letter — followed by an individual interview of 20 to 30 minutes, on campus or by video call, assessing the applicant's personality, potential and motivation.

Tuition fees are €13,500 per year, that is €40,500 over three years. In the third year, work-study brings this figure down to €10,000, covered in full under the contract. Several funding solutions support families: student loans, work-study, support from G.A Financement, together with excellence scholarships and social grants awarded by the Fonds de Dotation Ferrières on three criteria — the order in which applications arrive, the quality of the file and the family's social situation.

Careers in the leading houses

With a 100% employment rate within six months (Class of 2024), the Bachelor opens the door to supervisory roles in prestige hotels, fine dining and upscale events: Guest Experience Officer, Event & MICE Assistant Manager, Boutique Manager, F&B Manager, Assistant Hotel Manager or Assistant Operations Manager. More than 50 international placement destinations and an alumni network present in palaces, luxury groups and starred restaurants worldwide allow students to build their careers from the very first year.

The Bachelor leads on to the MSc. Leadership in Hospitality Management (RNCP Level 7), awarded in partnership with EBS Paris and taught entirely in English. Together, the two programmes open the way to international leadership roles in luxury hospitality, gastronomy and consulting.

Joining Ferrières

With 45% international students, more than 20 nationalities on campus and two language tracks, French and English, École Ferrières welcomes students from all over the world and supports international applicants with their Campus France procedures. The next intake for the Bachelor in Hospitality Management is in September 2026. An exceptional school for exceptional careers.

Frequently asked questions

For applicants

Yes, the Bachelor in Hospitality Management is open to holders of a general, technological or vocational baccalauréat. Every application is reviewed carefully, followed by an admissions interview that allows us to assess the applicant's motivation and career plans.

No, no previous professional experience is required to join the Bachelor in Hospitality Management. The programme is designed to build up your professional readiness step by step: placements from the first year within the Accelis ecosystem and with partner houses, real operations run on campus, and work-study available from the third year. Your motivation and your potential matter more than your background.

The admissions interview has three aims: to understand the applicant's personality, to gauge their potential through their experience and their ambition, and to measure their personal and professional motivation. It is a supportive conversation, with no trick questions, and it also gives applicants the chance to ask everything they want to know about the programme, campus life and the career prospects the school offers.

Yes. Through the Fonds de Dotation Ferrières, the school awards partial scholarships to deserving applicants, so that the unique quality of its teaching and its setting is open to as many students as possible. Awards are based on three criteria: the order in which applications arrive — files sent early stand the best chance of receiving a scholarship — the quality of the application, and social criteria such as the income of parents or guardians. We therefore encourage you to apply early.

For families and career changers

Through Student Services, the school supports students in finding accommodation near the campus, subject to availability in partner residences and with partner providers. Given the high demand for housing close to the school, we strongly recommend starting the search as soon as you enrol. Student Services remain available to advise families throughout that search.

Yes. From the first year, the school helps place students with its preferred partners and offers help and advice in accessing opportunities within its network. In the following years, Ferrières supports students in securing paid placements in partner institutions, restaurants and hotels, in France and internationally. The Partnerships & Careers department and the Career Summits, held twice a year, are key tools in this route into employment — students remain free to look for placements outside the network.

Some international university exchange programmes with partner institutions require additional fees, on top of the annual tuition. These amounts vary according to the destination and the host institution. As the international academic exchange in the second year of the Bachelor is optional, families can plan for this choice and its budget in advance, with support from the school's teams.

For international students

The Bachelor in Hospitality Management offers two distinct tracks, one in French and one in English, allowing every student to choose their language of study. Some hotel subjects, such as front office or housekeeping, are taught in English in order to prepare students for the international context of the sector. By the end of the programme, graduates can work professionally in both languages.

Yes. École Ferrières welcomes 45% international students and more than 20 nationalities on campus. International students complete their placements in France, just as French students do. You must be from a European Union country or hold a valid residence permit authorising study in France.

Applicants holding a qualification equivalent to the baccalauréat obtained in their home country can join the Bachelor. Their file must include a certificate of equivalence for the qualification, translated by the official services of the relevant embassy. The rest of the file remains the same: CV, proof of identity or passport, school reports and an optional covering letter.

In the second year, Bachelor students spend a semester on the Barcelona campus, where they explore the Entertainment, Airlines, Cruiseliner & MICE sectors. This European immersion develops their adaptability and their international outlook, two essential qualities in the future leaders of hospitality.
