Description:

The housekeeping course allows the student to gain practical and theoretical knowledge. He will be instructed to maintain guest rooms neat and orderly and to work closely with all associated departments, with the aim of making the guest feel at home.

Objective:

• Perform the appropriate gestures and develop behavioral skills (skill set, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills)
• Define roles and positions in the housekeeping division
• Determine daily work schedules according to the estimated workload
• Learn the different preparation procedures of rooms and beds
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in rooms as per standard procedures
• Establish bathrooms cleaning procedures and appropriate use of detergents
• Organize and manage procedures for VIP guests in the rooms
• Learn to be disciplined and coordinate with a disciplined team
• Manage special requests (Packing or ironing…)
• Develop professional credibility and efficiency (professional hospitality behavior, professional practices of excellence, professional visits, PAP Diversified Ecosystem, operational internship)
• Organise and plan the maintenance of work areas
• Perform work in an ergonomic manner and respect the initial design of facilities
