Ferrieres School at SIRHA 2017
Ferrieres School will participate to the next SIRHA fair, the World Hospitality & Food Service Event
Ferrieres, The School of French Excellence, will participate to SIRHA, the world Hospitality & Food Services Event, which will be held in Lyon from the 21st to the 25th of January 2017.
Ferrieres School staff and students will introduce you to our dedicated programmes and qualifications in Hospitality, Gastronomy and Luxury.
This fair will host many events, culinary demonstrations, conferences and prestigious international competitions such as :
- The Bocuse d’Or Final (24th and 25th of January). This final will host 24 countries, including France, and will promote the best international Chefs. This Cuisine competition is organised every two years at SIRHA to showcase the talent of Chefs from all around the world.
- The Pastry World Cup Final (22nd and 23rd), with 23 international teams competing, including some of the world best specialists in ice and sugar crafting.
- The European Championship of Sugar (24th and 25th of January). A competition of 12 candidates showcasing the Pastry World by producing an artistic piece with different hardboiled sugars
- Bakery French Cup (21st to 23rd of January). This event gathers the best French bakers. 12 teams, each representing one French region. Each team includes 3 contestants, each one specialised in either : Bread, Viennoiserie or Artistic Piece. Eric Kayser will be the official sponsor of this competition !
The SIRHA is THE event for Hospitality and Food Service professionals and passionates.
